Sign the Pledge: No Spreading of Toxic Sewage Sludge in NY

Dangerous PFAS “forever chemicals” are found in sewage sludge, the solids left over from wastewater treatment plants. But the toxic sewage sludge is spread on farmland, golf courses and sold as “compost” OR fertilizer. That’s why we’re taking action, together.

Sign the pledge today, committing to protect our communities and remaining open spaces:

"I pledge to support efforts to stop the spreading of sewage sludge on farms, gardens, sports fields, in my community and across New York State."
