During last month's Climate Action Week in New York City, Gov. Newsom announced a new statewide initiative to encourage Californians to take everyday climate action. The "Climate Action Counts" Campaign underscores the importance of individual action for collective impact in the fight against climate change. The goal is to achieve ONE MILLION pledges to take climate action- and with over 500,000 members and supporters statewide, Sierra Club CA is a crucial partner in this campaign. If each one of you took the pledge today, we would be halfway to reaching our goal.
