Tell FDOT you oppose this disastrous toll road project!

These roads to ruin and the urban sprawl they fuel will destroy working agricultural lands, wildlife habitat and water recharge areas, lead to more water quality issues and wreak havoc on our smaller communities. We need to protect our lands and our way of life from this boondoggle.

Whether we live near the proposed toll road or not, this project threatens our way of life in Florida. Our tax dollars cannot be allowed to be spent on unneeded infrastructure when there is so much need for those dollars to be spent on land conservation, climate change mitigation, and public health.

Use your voice today to oppose Multi-use Corridors of Regional Economic Significance (M-CORES) -- we call them the “roads to ruin”. Send a message to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and task force members today!

I urge the state’s decision-makers to act to eliminate the threats posed by all three proposed toll roads. These “roads to ruin” and the urban sprawl they fuel threaten agricultural land, wildlife habitat, water resources, and the character and local economies of Florida’s iconic rural towns. We need to protect our land and our heritage from this boondoggle; it is our existing infrastructure that deserves FDOT’s attention. Precious resources should be used where needed and not on schemes that serve only special interests. This is especially important now that so many state resources will need to be devoted to the Covid-19 response. Please stop M-CORES in its tracks.
