The Midtown Greenway in Minneapolis is one of the most successful urban bikeways in the nation. Now it’s time to carry out the Met Council's implementation study to Extend the Greenway over the Mississippi River to the Prospect Park neighborhood in Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota, Allianz Field in Saint Paul, and ultimately, to Ayd Mill Trail to downtown Saint Paul.
The first step is to develop an Intergovernmental Implementation Working Group, led by Hennepin County and made up of leaders and agencies from Minneapolis, St. Paul, Ramsey County, and the Met Council.
