Minnesota communities love the outdoors, and care about protecting clean water and habitat. But the increased use of Off-Road Vehicles poses risks to our wetlands, streams, and wildlife.
With millions of public dollars recently appropriated for trail creation and expansion, we urgently need common sense measures to protect sensitive habitats and natural areas on state lands.
Common sense legislation recently introduced in the Minnesota legislature, HF2791/SF1324 would promote a balanced approach to future development of Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) trails on public land, and sustainably manage motorized recreation.
Let’s protect AND sustain Minnesota’s outdoor heritage for generations to come. Please contact your legislator today and ask them to support the bill.
