Missouri's beautiful state parks, clean water, healthy soils, and family farms all have something in common: they depend on your vote.
On Tuesday, August 4, Missourians will vote on Amendment 1, which would renew Missouri's long-standing Parks, Soils & Water Sales Tax for another 10 years. This is not a new tax. This simply renews the one-tenth of one percent conservation sales tax that Missouri voters have repeatedly supported since 1984.
That small investment has a big impact. It provides approximately 75% of the operating budget for Missouri State Parks and supports soil and water conservation projects in all 114 Missouri counties, helping farmers and landowners protect
