Stop buying advertising on Breitbart.com

More than 2,100 brands have dropped Breitbart including, Audi, Visa, T-Mobile, Lufthansa, and Kellogg's. Why hasn’t Amazon? Breitbart routinely posts racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, anti-Semitic, and climate change-denying propaganda on its website. As you know, your company has made significant commitments to sustainability by investing in wind and solar energy, and even doubled down on your commitment to strong clean energy and climate policies after Donald Trump backed out of the Paris climate agreement. Yet Amazon provides financial support to a site that has published fake news headlines like “Global Temperatures Plunge. Icy Silence from Climate Alarmists.” Funding Breitbart’s hate and fake news doesn’t align with Amazon’s values and is hurting your brand. Earlier this year more than 52 of your employees called on you to take action. Additionally, on May 23, protesters showed up to a shareholders meeting calling for you to stop funding Breitbart. This will continue to be a public image issue until you act. As the largest online retailer, you can lead by example and stop funding this hateful, climate-denying site. I urge you stop buying ads on Breitbart.
