Take Action: Stop Allowing Hunters to Import Slaughtered Lions and Elephants

The Trump administration is allowing endangered species hunting trophies to be imported. Speak out for African lions and elephants!

African elephants have been listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act since 1978 and are increasingly protected under international treaties. In 2015, US Fish and Wildlife began protecting African lions under the Endangered Species Act in response to the massive outrage after Cecil the lion was killed.

Yet the Trump administration, has been quietly undermining these same protections by allowing trophy hunters to import lions from an expanding list of countries. The fate of hundreds of African lions and elephants lies in the balance.

These concessions to trophy hunters were led by former Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke. Now that he is out of office, we have an opportunity to improve the Trump administration's stance on international wildlife conservation. Add your name to urge the president and the Fish and Wildlife Service to ban hunting trophies!
