Though we may have lost the fight on the GOP tax scam bill, we won't stop fighting for a more equitable future and the health of our communities and our environment.
Whether it's exposing and rejecting the hateful remarks and policies of so many elected politicians, or blocking anti-science nominees, or fighting bills that perpetuate the status quo of dangerous fossil fuel development, or opening up drilling in the Arctic Refuge, we won't stop resisting Trump and the GOP's attacks on our health, our democracy, and our environment.
Indeed, despite Trump, we're actually winning on many fronts. Over 50 local governments have committed to powering themselves with 100% clean, renewable energy. We've helped move over of half of America’s coal plant fleet beyond coal -- 26 of these announced since Trump was elected. We've turned out hundreds of thousands into the streets for climate justice, made thousands of phone calls and sent millions of letters to elected officials. Our grassroots movement is big and powerful, and we won’t let up.
