Scott Pruitt’s travel expenses costs a fortune to taxpayers: Tell Pruitt to return this money
EPA administrator Scott Pruitt has already racked up a huge bill for his travel expenses and tax payers are left holding the bag. Pruitt’s lavish first-class flights, unnecessary use of military planes, and over-the-top hotels all add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars, and we don’t even know all of the costs. At the same time, Pruitt is pushing to cut the budget for public health protections and clean air and water safeguards, all from a first class seat paid for by me and you.
As a government employee, Pruitt should be using the least expensive class of travel -- not flying like a celebrity. We need to hold Pruitt accountable to end this reckless spending. If Trump won't do the right thing and fire him, he should return the taxpayer money he’s already spent.
Tell Scott Pruitt to return the taxpayer money that he’s spent for his first-class travel and nice hotels.
