It’s time for Tulsa to live up to its motto, “A New Kind of Energy.” Modernizing our city with 100%
clean and renewable energy will not only improve public health and air quality, but also save money
and natural resources, create jobs and boost our local economy.
Several cities throughout the nation have already achieved 100% clean energy. Furthermore, many
US and international cities have made similar commitments proving that 100% clean and renewable
energy is both important and feasible for all cities and all communities.
We urge the mayor and City Council of Tulsa to take a leading position and declare a goal of pursuing 100% of the city's energy from clean, renewable electricity by 2030!
