Support keeping public lands in public hands across the country

Anti-public lands extremists are not giving up -- they intend to press ahead with their agenda to seize control of our public lands. The day may come when you take your family to your favorite hiking, fishing or hunting place and find it blocked off with “No Trespassing” signs.
The land-grabbers want the rest of the country to believe their radical agenda.

At the same time, they work to intimidate agencies such as the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service so that our land managers continually make decisions favorable to industrial interests.

That’s why we need to take a stand. Local economies throughout the country depend on public access so they and their fellow Americans can enjoy the spectacular beauty of our public lands. Please take action now by signing our petition to oppose any plans to seize control of our public lands.

We value our public lands for their beauty, inspiration, and increasingly for healing -- for paddling, rafting, hiking, camping, bird watching, photography, climbing, biking – these and many other activities are enjoyed on America’s public lands. But anti-public lands extremists want to seize control of our heritage and subject it to oil, gas and mining development. Many places we know and love could be sold to private interests. Transferring or selling our forests and other public lands to states are one-time deals that rob Americans of their rightful ownership of these beautiful lands. Cash-strapped states will not have the resources to manage these lands and are likely to sell them off. This agenda is about more than just stealing America’s premier lands; it’s an attack on our national pastimes and our right to enjoy the great outdoors. It’s also a threat to our outdoor recreation economy and to the America the Beautiful so many have fought to defend.
