Big Coal and Nuclear are once again seeking dirty energy bailouts. Trump Energy Secretary Perry is considering forcing huge new bailout costs on Delawareans while the dirty energy industry seeks to change the overall energy marketplace to hurt clean energy and support uneconomic dirty coal and nuclear plants.
This is a bad deal for the environment and Delaware electric customers. Bailing out old dirty coal and nuclear plants is the wrong choice for not just Delawareans, as has been proven before, but is bad electric policy nationwide.
Attorney General Denn is Delaware’s head legal officer and has the authority to take legal action on behalf of us Delawareans to oppose these dirty energy bailouts. Now is the time for AG Denn to take action to protect Delawareans
