Tell Mayor Hagerty and Evanston City Council to Support a Goal of 100% Clean, Renewable Energy!

Across the U.S. nearly 100 cities and towns, 11 counties, and 2 states [1] have already adopted ambitious 100% clean, renewable energy goals -- but none are in the Prairie State, yet.

Last year, Mayor Steve Hagerty, along with hundreds of other mayors, joined Mayors For 100% Clean Energy [2] and pledged his commitment to moving U.S. cities and towns, like Evanston, to 100% clean and renewable energy.

In the September 2018 draft Climate Action and Resilience Plan [3], Evanston proposed setting a goal of 100% clean, renewable energy for the entire city, along with other bold steps to act on climate change. Now, Evanston City Council is getting ready to review the final plan. If City Council approves it, Evanston will be the first community in the state to make the bold commitment to clean energy for all!

Help Evanston become the first city in Illinois to commit to a community-wide goal of 100% clean, renewable energy for all -- tell Evanston City Council you support a goal of 100% clean, renewable energy and urge them to approve the plan!
