This election is our chance to support Missouri families by raising the minimum wage.
No one who’s working full time should still be living in poverty and struggling to provide for their family. Costs are going up, but our wages aren’t keeping pace.
Increasing the minimum wage is a tested solution that has been shown to work. Over half of the states in America have found that raising the minimum wage increases employment, unlocks opportunities for workers, and strengthens local economies.
Someone in Missouri working full time for minimum wage only earns $314 a week, or barely $16,000 a year. Prop B will gradually raise Missouri’s minimum wage to $12 by 2023.
