The dirty oil and gas industry continues to push fracking and the construction of dirty fuels infrastructure projects that pollute our water, land, air, and climate -- and risk locking America into decades of more climate-polluting fossil fuel production.
Corporate polluters behind these projects do things like frack our public lands, abuse eminent domain to snatch away private land for pipelines, create permanent threat of pollution. Water pollution is an especially looming threat for the communities that have little say in the matter, and so is potent climate disrupting pollution from methane, a greenhouse gas that is 87x as powerful as CO2.
