Tell the Cooper Administration to Create a Strong, Speedy, and Equitable Clean Energy Plan

We have an opportunity to implement a revolutionary clean energy transition for North Carolina.

Last fall, Governor Cooper issued an executive order for our state to uphold the Paris Climate Agreement, which says that by 2025 we must, at minimum, reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% from 2005 levels. The executive order calls for the state’s first-ever clean energy plan, which will be drafted and finalized by October 2019. The goal of the executive order is good, but we can push the Cooper administration to do even better.
