Tell your members of Congress to support a strong, well-funded Endangered Species Act

The Endangered Species Act is responsible for bringing iconic wildlife like gray wolves, grizzly bears, and manatees back from the brink of extinction. But as we’ve seen, this landmark law is not safe in this administration.

Just this year, we’ve seen Trump’s Department of the Interior release their final plans to gut critical protections of the law, and the Congressional Western Caucus’ 19-bill package designed to weaken the Endangered Species Act even further. Thankfully, there’s hope.

As Sierra Club’s and partners continue to fight Interior in court, Congressional champions Rep Grijalva and Sen Udall have introduced bills in the House and Senate that would officially restore all protections gutted in Interior’s rollbacks. The Protect America’s Wildlife and Fish in Need of Protection Conservation Act of 2019 (PAW and FIN Conservation Act of 2019) could stop Interior’s disastrous rollbacks for good -- but we need to build support in both houses. Will you be the voice for our wildlife?

Tell your members of Congress -- Defend America’s vulnerable wildlife, please co-sponsor the PAW and FIN Conservation Act of 2019!
