Advocate for clean energy funding in your community!

After years of grassroots advocacy, Congress passed two historic bills in 2021 and 2022: the Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

Right now, billions of federal dollars are starting to become available to everyday people and our states and communities. We can cut climate pollution 40 percent by 2030, create nine million family-sustaining jobs over the next decade, and clean up the air and water pollution that’s harming our health – but only if we ensure this legislation is fully and equitably implemented.

The Sierra Club Community Advocates program will train and support volunteers to access this federal funding at the state and local level, especially in communities most impacted by the climate crisis and pollution. We have an opportunity  to make sure money is distributed fairly into our communities, and that benefits are felt by everyday people — not corporations and the wealthy few.

We can't do this without you – sign up here to get involved!
