Support Greener & Healthier School Buses

Diesel exhaust from fossil fuel buses are bad for the planet and toxic for kids. Children's brains and respiratory systems are especially sensitive to diesel engine exhaust, worsening asthma and other health problems. Transitioning the nation's school bus fleet to electric models is a win for clean air, healthier kids, and fighting climate change.

Since opening in 2022, the EPA Clean School Bus Program has awarded nearly $3 billion for 8,500 new buses at over 1,000 school districts. However, more school districts need support transitioning their bus fleets to be fully electric. It's time to speed things up.

Add your name to thank the EPA for supporting school districts' transition to electric buses and encourage them to speed up the shift nationwide.
