Tell Congress: Don't Sacrifice Clean Energy, Public Lands, & Essential Services for Billionaire Tax Breaks!

Right now, Trump and Republicans in Congress are attempting to make more drastic cuts to clean energy and climate action, public lands, Social Security and Medicare, and other essential government programs that people rely on.

Why? To pay for more tax breaks for their billionaire buddies and corporate polluters.

We need a government that makes life better for everyday people. But Trump and his allies want to kill clean energy investments and green jobs, increase pollution in our communities, sell our public lands off to the highest bidder, and open up the Arctic Refuge for oil and gas drilling. These cuts will place even more of the burden of rising costs directly onto working families.

New legislation is moving through Congress right now. We can't allow them to pass this reckless bill that wipes out clean energy and guts protections for our nation’s most special places!

Over the last few years, Congress has invested hundreds of billions of dollars to support the clean energy economy and create good green jobs. Local economies in our state and across the country are now reaping the benefits! These new incentives are also protecting public health, promoting lower cost clean energy, and safeguarding our communities against the worst impacts of the climate crisis.

I also support protecting America’s public lands and waters. Thanks to Congress we’re conserving, restoring, and increasing access to these treasured places for the long-term benefit of the United States, including the families and individuals seeking places to recreate in nature.

We cannot afford to sell out the clean energy future of our communities and sell off our public lands and waters like the Arctic Refuge just to give massive handouts to the ultra-wealthy and big corporations that bought access to Trump.

Please do everything you can to preserve and protect clean energy investments and our public lands and waters from being slashed in the budget bill.
