Congress: Urge the Trump Admin to Protect Existing National Monuments

I join millions of people across the country who love America’s parks, monuments, and other public lands. That is why I am so devastated that President Trump may attempt to dismantle cherished national monuments and hand over public lands to billionaires and corporate polluters. Please stand up for our public lands and demand that he stop these attacks. National monuments are part of what makes our country great, and are some of our most popular areas for exploring nature while conserving landscapes, cultural areas, clean water, and wildlife for the future. Allowing new drilling, mining, and logging in these treasured places will block access to public lands for local residents and visitors alike. These actions would disregard years of Indigenous and other local advocacy to protect these landscapes, and would also hurt communities who depend on public lands and waters for their local economies, drinking water, cultural values, and quality of life.
