Tell Iowa DNR to protect our water!

IA Alliant plant.jpg

Iowa’s waterways are under threat by big polluters!

Recently, Alliant Energy applied for a permit to allow the continued discharge of untreated, toxic coal ash leachate from their Ottumwa coal plant into the Des Moines River.

We need the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to protect our waterways so that they are a safe source for drinking water, fishing, and recreation. Join us in calling on the DNR to reject the permit application!
