Help protect the Cumberland Island National Seashore!

Cumberland Island National Seashore is one of Georgia's crown jewels, offering visitors uniquely primitive recreational experiences. It is home to the largest Wilderness Area of any barrier island on the East Coast. Visitors from across the country and around the world have visited Cumberland Island to experience a pristine and unchanged landscape.

Sadly, the island's primitive nature could be changed forever if a new plan to manage this special place is approved. We need your help to protect Cumberland Island!

The National Park Service has proposed a new Visitor Use Management Plan that would substantially increase the visitation, development, and commercialization of Cumberland Island National Seashore, degrade the visitor experience, and threaten the island's ecological integrity and wildlife.

This is not the first time Cumberland Island has been put at risk through changes to its management plan, but every time, activists like YOU have raised their voices to protect this special place. We need your help once again.
