Renewable energy projects are helping stabilize electricity prices and creating jobs across the country -- especially in communities burdened by rising energy costs. However, fossil fuel interests and their bought politicians are attempting to halt or delay offshore wind projects that will power hundreds of thousands of homes, and instead, are pushing to expand drilling in some of our most sacred and sensitive areas.
The good news is that the courts have sided with offshore wind and ordered that these projects be allowed to proceed. Now is the moment to stand up and protect other wind, solar, battery storage, and transmission projects that are already helping lower costs, reduce pollution, and create good-paying jobs.
