Right now, millions of kids attend schools where outdoor spaces are dominated by asphalt, not trees, gardens, or places to explore and learn. The Revitalizing America’s Schoolyards Act would change that by investing in green, living schoolyards that support hands-on learning, improve student health, and strengthen communities.
By funding schoolyard transformations -- by planting trees, building gardens, and creating outdoor classrooms -- this bill would bring nature within reach for more youth across the country.
The Outdoor Alliance for Kids (OAK) encourages you to tell your members of Congress to cosponsor this critical legislation to help create healthier, more equitable learning environments for every child.
