FERC wants to make it easier for fossil fuel companies to build pipelines without environmental review. Add your name and tell them no.
Every community deserves clean air, clean water, and a real voice in what gets built where they live. This new proposal would increase the automatic approval cost limit from $14.5 million to $30 million, and the "prior notice" cap from $41 million to $86 million. That means much bigger projects, including ones in communities like the one near Las Cruces, New Mexico, could move forward with little to no oversight.
We're telling FERC what we're for: real environmental review, real accountability, and just energy systems built with communities, not around them. Submit a comment today!
