Don’t Let Congress Block Worker Protections from Extreme Heat

Extreme heat is becoming more frequent, more intense, and more dangerous as our climate changes -- and workers are paying the price.

The Biden administration proposed a rule for simple safeguards like access to water, shade, and rest breaks as temperatures soar. But instead of helping protect people who work in hot environments, such as airport runways and near industrial furnaces, Congress is instead moving forward on a bill to block heat safeguards.

Tell your elected officials to reject this dangerous bill and stand with workers vulnerable to dangerous extreme heat.
