Americans are paying hundreds of millions of dollars more per day at the pump because of Trump’s war of choice with Iran. Meanwhile, he's lined his pockets with an estimated $4.6 million from his Exxon and Chevron stocks alone. And Big Oil and Gas corporations posted a combined $85.2 billion in Q2 profits, a massive increase above last year.
This is price-gouging. This is corruption. Enough is enough.
A new CNN poll found three-quarters of Americans say gas prices are causing them financial hardship, and two-thirds believe Trump’s policies have made the economy worse.
It doesn't have to be this way. We can power our cities and towns with clean, renewable energy sources like solar and wind to reduce energy costs and protect our climate. But again and again, Trump keeps gutting clean energy projects, including paying $1.2 billion of OUR tax dollars in August to kill an offshore wind project that was already mostly built.
