The Trump administration may begin the formal process of withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement as early as this Fall. The Climate Action Now Act seeks to stop this. It would prohibit the Trump administration from using any funds to withdraw from the agreement and require the administration to submit a detailed plan to Congress on how the United States will meet its climate obligations.Making sure that the United States has a seat at the table and a plan to meet its commitments under the agreement should not be a partisan issue. This is an important moment and an opportunity for every member of Congress to affirm that the United States will be a leader in addressing the climate crisis. Support for the bill is growing quickly, with more than 200 members of Congress already signed on as cosponsors. Now we need your help to make sure your representative is on board!Send a message now asking your representative to sign on to the Climate Action Now Act -- or thank them for already doing so!
