Support Agrivoltaics Solar Energy Development in Nevada

“Agrivoltaics” means land that is used for both solar power generation and agricultural production, such as crop production, livestock production, or pollinator habitats underneath or adjacent to solar panels. Agrivoltaics deployment in Nevada would allow farmers to have an additional revenue stream, generate renewable solar energy, and support the electric grid. Legislators are considering a bill that would support agrivoltaics in Nevada. Tell your state officials that you support agrivoltaics development in Nevada, and help us get this bill passed!

Support Agrivoltaics Solar Energy Development in Nevada
I am writing as your constituent to urge you to support agrivoltaics in Nevada, specifically by supporting AB 479, which would define and support agrivoltaics development in Nevada. “Agrivoltaics” refers to land that is used for both solar power generation and agricultural production, such as crop production, livestock production, or pollinator habitats underneath or adjacent to solar panels. Our farmers need economic support, and our grid needs more renewables. Agrivoltaics deployment in Nevada would allow farmers to have an additional revenue stream, generate renewable solar energy, and support the electric grid. I'm counting on you to support our farmers, the electricity grid, and climate.
