Protect the Stewards of Our Public Lands and National Parks

FRONT (5).jpgElon Musk’s DOGE team has fired thousands of rangers, educators, scientists, and caretakers of the National Park Service, Forest Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, and Bureau of Land Management. Unless they are reversed, these mass firings will hurt protected lands, wildlife, and visitors.

Every day, tens of thousands of federal employees are working to safeguard our nation’s national parks, monuments, forests, wildlife refuges and public lands. These dedicated professionals care for our nation’s most precious natural and historic places, educate visitors and keep them safe and protect our public lands for future generations.

But today, these stewards, like so many other critical federal employees, are under an unprecedented attack from an unelected billionaire and the Trump Administration that has enabled him.

Firing these dedicated public servants will make our parks and public lands less accessible, less safe, and more prone to permanent damage. Firing thousands of employees with no notice and no reason is also cruel, leaving individuals unable to serve in the places they love without jobs, losing their paychecks and health insurance. These reckless cuts will result in the loss of important access programs, effective public land management, and critical institutional knowledge.

Tell Congress why it is important to stand up for our national parks, monuments, forests, and public lands, and those who are dedicated to protecting these precious places.

Please consider adding a personal message, especially if you are planning to visit a National Park or other public lands this year or have visited recently, to share how this loss of staff impacts you.
