There are many ways to join this work. Project participants can choose to reach out to their local schools, write letters to the editor, share resources at community events, send text alerts, participate in public outreach opportunities held by state agencies, or work with us to find the role that suits their interests, skills & schedule!
Goals of the PA Statewide Clean Communities Project
- Empower grassroots activists to utilize the resources created by the IRA/IIJA laws to reach our long-term clean energy goals and build a larger environmental movement that centers on frontline communities and our commitment to equity and justice.
- Activate Pennsylvanians across the state, along with Sierra Club members and supporters, to bring resources from the IRA/IIJA to their communities.
- Simultaneously advance state programs compatible with IRA/IIJA programs and funding.
- Focus on bringing funds to schools and implementing the Home Energy Rebates Program.
