Near the Burnes Park splash pad.

Meet outside the park building near the splash pad. The building has water and restrooms.  Parking is along 2nd Street N, or along Minnetonka Mills Road, or in the parking lot that the park shares with Zion Lutheran church.

Description:
Join me to ride the North Cedar Lake trail from Hopkins to Cedar Lake and Lake of the Isles and back to along the South Cedar Lake trail to our starting point.  The trail now has underpasses or bridges that avoid most busy road crossings.  On the return ride we can also view the construction progress of portions the Metro green line extension project.

The starting and ending point is a short distance from Metro 38 and 615 bus lines, and is also near several bike trails.

Gear or food/water needs: 
A bicycle, helmet, water bottle, and sunscreen.  Check your bicycle tire air pressure and brakes before you arrive for this ride.  A bike helmet is *required* to participate in this Sierra Club bike ride.  The ride is approximately 16 miles and we’ll aim for an average speed of 10 mph.
