Earth Day at the Capitol

Join us for Earth Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, April 22nd, from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. We are planning a productive and fun day with lots of informative discussions, good food, and opportunities to connect in meaningful ways with our legislators and each other. Let's make sure our state legislators know that there is an active constituency in Oklahoma that cares about the environment, and that we need legislation that helps, not harms our natural world, our water, and our public health and safety. The day will include an orientation, a discussion about the priority bills for the day, a press conference, meetings with our legislators in small groups (with talking points and one pagers) and a round table discussion about how to build community and a robust coalition of Oklahoman environmental advocates. Hope to see you there, and please spread the word!
