Eat the Neighborhood
Sierra Clubs Tallgrass Prairie Group (formerly the Sauk-Calumet Group) will be hosting, Eat the Neighborhood, on Monday, May 11th, at 7:00 pm. This will be an in-person meeting only. We will meet at the Frankfort Public Library. This will be our last regular meeting until September. We have no regular meetings during the summer months of June, July, and August.Professional forager and local Illinois resident, Dave Odd, will talk to us about edible and medicinal plants in our local areas. Dave can usually find about 50 edible plants and mushrooms in any local neighborhood. Join us to find out more about foraging at home!

Additional Directions: To attend the meeting, go to the Frankfort Public Library at 21119 Pfeiffer Road, at the southeast corner of Lincoln Highway and Pfeiffer Road in Frankfort. Pfeiffer Road is about a mile east of LaGrange Road on Route 30/Lincoln Highway.
