Meet at Loons Cafe in Minneapolis, Loons Coffee, 4648 E Lake St, Minneapolis, MN
Come see an ice cave in your local national park with a former Park Ranger. We’ll hike in the gorge section of the Mississippi River National River and Recreation and view how natural springs and seeps can turn into ice caves in the winter. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a cup of coffee together at Loons Cafe. (no special hiking skills required, but be prepared for icy walking)
Fee: This event is set as a sliding scale. The suggested fee is $10. If this is a barrier for you, you may use the code NorthStarSnow and pay whatever you can, including nothing :)
