Location: Minsky's on Main, 5105 Main, KCMO. The speaker will be Hunter Moore, a representative of KC Wildlands, who will tell us about the wild areas in the Kansas City metro. We will also do an action and have some good news to share!

Did you know that Kansas City has WILDLANDS?! It does, and you can hear more about them at our next monthly meeting!
The October meeting of the Thomas Hart Benton Group of Sierra Club, on October 27, from 6:00 - 8:00, at MInsky's South Plaza (5105 Main) will feature a presentation by KC Wildlands, a subgroup of Bridging the Gap, a Kansas City Environmental Organization. Our speaker, Jacobo Barriga, Program Coordinator of KC Wildlands, will explain what definition of "wildlands" is used locally and what work is being done to preserve them. He also will address where they are in the Kansas City metro area!
We will also have pizza and take up a collection for the group order. Drinks are on your own! We will also have an Action Item to share (where we send emails, letters, contact legislators, etc.)
