O'Fallon Park-Tree Watering
After the 2025 tornado, O'Fallon Park was left with less than 15% of its original tree canopy. In Spring 2026, Forest ReLeaf partnered with Open Space, STL City Forestry and other community groups to replant over 350 trees for shade, beauty, and storm water management. In order for these trees to grow into their full potential, the Sierra Club is looking for help watering these saplings for their first year of growth. This activity will require volunteers to walk short distances while carrying buckets of water. We will provide all gloves and buckets. If you have them bring garden or children wagons to help haul water instead of carrying it. WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!! Well behaved pets are welcome.

Meet at the O’Fallon Park BOAT HOUSE, 2000 Harris Ave. St. Louis, MO 63107, Coordinates: 38.6793, 90.2192. From northbound I-70, take Exit 246B onto the Adelaide ramp. Drive west on Adelaide for 0.6 miles. Turn right on W Florissant. In 0.1 miles, turn slightly right into O'Fallon Park. On the one-way loop, drive to the Boat House at the eastern end of Paul Davis Lake.

In order for these trees to grow into their full potential, the Sierra Club is looking for help watering these saplings in preparation for their first year of growth. This activity will require volunteers to walk short distances while carrying heavy buckets of water. We will provide all tools and gloves necessary to weed, water and mulch. WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!! Well behaved pets are welcome. Guns are prohibited.
Moderate difficulty.
All participants must sign a waiver.
Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring a hat and gloves, sunblock, 1 quart of water and a snack.
Restrooms are available.
The leader will be driving a Gold Honda Accord with license number: 2 BKIND.
