Rescheduled Sierra Club FOJG Hike Along the Capital Trail at Rocketts Landing

This will be an urban hike of 2-3 miles starting at Rockets Landing going east and then turning around and walking west to Great Shiplock Park and under the Highline a bit. We will then have lunch and a brew if interested at Stone Brewing.

This will be an urban hike of 2-3 miles starting at Rockets Landing going east along the Capital Trail. Virginia Capital Trail Foundation | Paved pedestrian & bicycle trail from Richmond to Williamsburg Virginia We will then turn around and walk west to Great Shiplock Park and under the Highline along the trail. If interested, we can walk over to the nearby Stone Brewing at 12 pm and have lunch and a brew, or you can retrace your steps back to your car on your own. Stone Brewing Tap Room Richmond | Craft Beer & Merchandise

Bring: Water, sun protection, jacket, binoculars, snack

Signup Restrictions: All participants must sign a Sierra Club waiver to participate. Pets are allowed on this outing. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Additional Directions: Meet in front of the Boathouse Restaurant at 4708 E Main St, Richmond, VA 23231. You can parallel park along Main St. near the Boathouse.
