The Swedenborg Nature Habitat is a wooded, two-acre conservation easement that the Garden Chapel Sanctuary established in collaboration with Open Space STL. It is gradually being improved for public access with walkable trails and a meditation circle for musical events. You can contribute to its development by helping with honeysuckle removal and native plantings on Sunday, October 25th. The Garden Chapel Sanctuary will be providing lunch beforehand for all volunteers during a special educational presentation by Dan Pearson, ecological landscaping expert, on the native plants we will be adding, and their importance for healthy ecosystems.

Schedule:
12:30 - 1:30pm Lunch and Presentation
1:30pm - 3:30pm Honeysuckle removal and planting native trees and flowers

The Sierra Club is collaborating with Open Space STL to recruit volunteers for this educational service outing.

Cancellation Policy: Activity is held rain or shine, but may be altered due to inclement weather
