Join the Adventure Seekers for Our First Rafting Car Camping Weekend! 

We are thrilled to invite you to our inaugural Rafting Car Camping weekend at Adventures Unlimited in Ocoee, TN. This incredible adventure will take place on a spacious 33-acre property designed for dispersed car camping.

Rapids by day. Campfires by night.

Event Highlights:

• Campfires on Friday and Saturday nights

• Rafting Excursion at 1:30 PM EST on Saturday, July 11th (Must reserve by deadline)

• Happy hour get together Saturday early evening (On-site)

• Live Music on Saturday night (On-site)

• Last day to sign up: June 27th

• Sign up on this site and make payments through Adventures Unlimited to officially register for Rafting.

• All times posted are in EST.

No prior whitewater experience is necessary, but participants must be in good health for this trip (per Adventures Unlimited guidelines). Visit their website to see if this adventure suits you! This is considered a STRENUOUS trip and beginners are welcome!

Packing List:

Camping Gear

• Tent

• Sleeping bag

• Camp chair

• Headlamp or lantern

• Reusable water bottle and drinking water

Outdoor Gear

• River shoes or old tennis shoes (you will get wet)

• Swimsuit

• Quick-dry clothes (NO COTTON)

• Sunscreen

• Rain jacket

Extras

• Meals and something to share for Saturday night's happy hour. Food is available for purchase on-site (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

• Cooler and camp stove (if needed)

• Musical instruments are welcome

The rafting excursion is scheduled for 1:30 PM EST on Saturday, a schedule of events will be sent via email after the June 27th deadline. Plan to arrive on Friday evening (when able) for a campfire and stay through Sunday morning.

The Tennessee Sierra Club Adventure Seekers unite young professionals from across Middle Tennessee to explore the great outdoors. We focus on connection, community, and outdoor adventures—regardless of your experience level.

This event is now open to anyone aged 21 and older who is eager to take part in a thrilling whitewater adventure!

Level: Strenuous (Beginners welcome)

Cost: $11 pp/ per night for camping, $66 pp rafting. Cabins available for rent, call AU for availability. All payments will go through Adventures Unlimited and required prior to deadline for rafting.

Signup Instructions: Sierra Club Sign up required. Payments via Adventures Unlimited to reserve spot.
