2025 was a big, challenging year and we faced it together. This is our chance to come together and celebrate the amazing work we have been doing throughout the year. Current and prospective volunteers are welcome!

Regardless of how you have been involved from signing a petition to donating to speaking a hearing – we would love to see you. Come recharge, learn, and have fun with us. At the celebration you can expect to: 

• Connect with others who care about protecting people, our planet, and democracy. For our active volunteers, we encourage you to come and get to connect in-person. And for those looking to start volunteering more, we’ll have folks ready to help you learn about ways to get involved. 
• Learn and get silly at photo booths sponsored by our volunteer teams like a trash display from the Zero Wasters and a near life size bus from the Land Use & Transportation Team.   
• Plus sing songs together at our first protest song sing-along.

We will have soup, baklava and invite you to bring hearty appetizers or other desserts with you. We’ll also hear from our board chairs and state director about the year, our plans for 2026, and honor amazing volunteers.

• Appetizers or desserts to share
• Your favorite protest sign from the year to display at the event (you can bring it back home with you for the next one!) 
• Halal Food food items, see below list. We are collecting these items for Ayada Leads to distribute to Somali families in need right now. 
  • Milk, eggs, whole wheat bread, salt, avocados, mandarin organs, frozen salmon, bananas, spinach, avocado oil for cooking, lipton tea bags, ginger powder, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, lemons, toilet paper, aluminum foil, paper towels 
  • Please ensure all food items are halal, sealed, and within the expiration date 

*Parking/Accessibility. Parking is street parking. Bus lines nearby. The venue is fully accessible and if you need help with parking and getting inside, we are happy to help. Just text Mary at 608-695-0915 when you arrive and we will have someone come out and help you in/park as needed.
