Come join this all-womens trip to beautiful Point Reyes! We'll meet at the Bear Valley trailhead and hike about about 8.2 miles to Wildcat Campground. We'll set up camp, explore the beach, and there's an option to walk down to Alamere falls if the tide allows.

The next day we'll get an early start to tackle the big hill and head back to the cars. There is some climbing on this hike (around 800ft), so be aware of your fitness level when considering this hike.

About the trip leader
User-added image

Dawn didn't grow up backpacking - in fact, she hated the idea and was very vocal about it. But after getting divorced at the age of 27 she realized she needed to be out in nature a la Cheryl Strayed. She's not the most hardcore, but she enjoys getting out when she can and taking friends (old and new) out on the trails. Favorite trail foods include fig bars, Clif bars, and Backpackers Pantry Three Cheese Mac n Cheese. Favorite trail activity: counting banana slugs.
