Sierra Club Southeast PA is pleased to support Beyond Plastics’ Regional Conference in Philadelphia on March 21.

It’s easy to get burned out—but we’ve got your back with Radical Optimism for a World Beyond Plastic. Together, we’ll renew our commitment to ending single-use plastics that harm the environment, threaten our health, and disproportionately burden environmental justice communities. Come get re-energized, learn new ways to engage others in this work, and build strategies to keep people involved for the long haul.

Through interactive workshops, you’ll build practical organizing skills to strengthen your advocacy, including power mapping, building and energizing your base, engaging local officials, and organizing film screenings or book events. You’ll also hear from Beyond Plastics President Judith Enck on the big picture—and be inspired by campaign wins from across our network.

Register for the conference

And we hope you’ll join us the night before the conference for a free public talk at Head House Books on Friday, March 20 at 6:30 PM. Beyond Plastics president Judith Enck will be discussing our new book, "The Problem with Plastic" with WHYY's Susan Phillips.
