Film Description: What motivates a special education teacher and grandmother to fight back against the continent's biggest plastics plant? A mission from God. Sharon Lavigne, 70, has lived in St. James, Louisiana, all her life, and she's watched it turn from the lush and productive farmland of her youth into one of the most polluted places in the country, now known as "Cancer Alley." When another huge petrochemical plant is announced for St. James, God tells Sharon to fight back. Follow Sharon and her daughter, Sharmyra, as they wrestle with how to build a better future for St. James.
