Mulched trail running through the middle of lush green forest
Join retired forester Bob Merrill for a relatively easy hike on a portion of the beloved Black Forest Trail. Explore approximately four miles afoot while learning about the growing threat ATVs and UTVs pose to Pennsylvania’s public lands. Pack a lunch and plenty of water, wear sturdy shoes and wear clothing appropriate to the weather.

*Please note: we will be meeting at the Tiadaghton State Forest District Office and will caravan to the trailhead. While this trail is relatively easy, it is not ADA accessible or stroller friendly for the duration of the hike. As we are asking participants to pack their own food, please let us know if you have any food allergies that may impact what folx can bring along.
