Hike to Raven Rocks (a "Wild Weekend" event)

Please join us for a vigorous 10.5 mile hike from Cool Spring Battlefield to the lovely Raven Rocks overlook (1540' elevation gain). After leaving the parking lot at Cool Spring, we will hike through the battlefield on a flat, well maintained cart path, then take the Ridge-To-River trail to the AT to Raven Rocks for lunch. After lunch, we will retrace our steps back to our cars. Good conditioning and sturdy, comfortable shoes are a must for this hike. We're very excited about this outing and hope you will be too. Visit https://www.teamsierra.org/virginia/ to donate or register as a fundraiser to help sustain our work. See you July 2!

Trailhead: 1400 Parker Lane, Bluemont, VA 20135 The parking lot is at the end of Parker Ln (Rt709) which is off of Rt 7.
