Please sign up here to join us over the next few months to take action demanding that GA EPD protect our communities and water from Georgia Power's toxic coal ash that is currently poisoning our water across Georgia.Georgia Power is polluting our water across Georgia with millions of tons of toxic coal ash. It is time we raise our voices and demand that the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GA EPD) holds Georgia Power accountable. We are calling on GA EPD to require the company to clean up its toxic coal ash and contain it in dry lined landfills which will prevent their toxic coal ash from leaking dangerous chemicals into our water.
Over the next few months the Georgia Beyond Coal Campaign will be taking action to make comments calling on GA EPD to ensure our water is protected from coal ash and Georgia Power is not permitted to continue polluting our waterways.
This is our MAIN opportunity to IMPACT whether or not Georgia requires toxic coal ash to be cleaned up and stored safely in lined pits to prevent the poisoning of our state's water!
