Global Grassroots Leaders Introductions Wednesday, June 2, 2021 9 AM - 11 AM EST / 6 AM - 8 AM PST This opening session will be streamed live on Facebook. Please join us to participate in the discussion! A recording of the session will be available later on our YouTube channel and the summit webpage. Topical Discussions Wednesday, June 2, 2021 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM EST / 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM PST Pre-recorded discussions between grassroots leaders will be posted on the summit webpage and YouTube channel throughout the day on June 2. These include conversations around US Overseas Fossil Fuel Finance, US Renewable Energy Finance, and Shutting down coal and just transition. Instagram Live Conversations Wednesday, June 2, 2021 - June 4, 2021 Join us on Instagram for occasional updates about the summit, including insight into how the private discussions between grassroots leaders and key U.S. decision makers are going. PRIVATE SESSIONS Grassroots Leaders Meet with Key U.S. Government Representatives Thursday, June 3, 2021 - June 4, 2021. Participating grassroots leaders will be attending private discussions with U.S. decision makers on June 3 and 4. These events will not be public or recorded to allow for a candid discussion between participants and decision makers. Grassroots leaders will meet with staff representing the Special Envoy for Climate, the Development Finance Corporation, the U.S. Treasury Department, and the U.S. Export-Import Bank.
